Animé par un regain de vitalité, le pianiste Jacky Terrasson est de retour sur Blue Note, après Smile paru en 2003, avec un superbe album solo, Mirror. Il regroupe des standards revisités, un autre appréhendé pour la première fois et six titres originaux, tous marqués par la joie de vivre spontanée qui caractérise le musicien. Ce premier disque solo était en gestation depuis plusieurs années, mais Jacky Terrasson a attendu le bon moment pour le publier, après avoir accepté le challenge intimidant d’entrer seul en studio.
